The Permanent City, Oil on Panel, 24 x 36 in., 2017 In the fall of 2016 I found myself in the office of Thornton Lathrop, head of the department of Industrial Design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD). A request was made to see my drawings with the possibility of bringing me on board to instruct young architects and industrial designers in the much-neglected art of drafting by hand.
