New Oil Paintings: The Jovian Satellites
Amount the biggest projects of 2022 are these four oil paintings of the Jovian Satellites. These are the largest moons of Jupiter, discovered by Galileo after the telescope was discovered in Norther Europe around 1610. Each one is on a maple panel, 12 x 12 inches in size. The planets themselves are eight inches in diameter. From top to bottom; Io, Callisto, Europa and Ganymede. I've been displaying them side by side about six inches from one another, above. They haven't been on public view but several exhibitions coming up this year may contain them, more on that when it arises.
